Currently the Retail Private Banker, Vice President at a prominent bank in Summit, NJ.  Over 35 years of professional banking experience. Past six years: board member for Premier Community Development Corporation (PCDC), of Plainfield NJ. Business Advocate for the Sustainable Committee for the City of Summit in 2008-2010. Education: Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md. (Accounting). Kean University of Union, NJ (Management Science).

Dr. Paola A. Acosta-Díaz  

Current president of Speak Up Summit, a 25-year-old, non-profit organization that advocates for quality public education in Summit. Volunteer, bilingual reading programs for children, Summit Public Library. Member, Anti-Racism Committee of the Summit Interfaith Council. Awarded 2019 Shaping Summit Together MLK Jr. Keepers of the Dream award for advocacy work. Co-founder, Empowering Kids Organization, a local non-profit with the mission of creating strategies and programs to empower underprivileged kids to access equal opportunities in education.

Active in local and school theatrical productions as producer and director; volunteer chair of First Night Summit for two years 

Lisa Brown 

Masters in Creative Art, Exhibiting Artist, Art teacher and workshop facilitator for "Art as Therapy" programs I developed; East Coast Supervisor for Creative Journal Expressive Arts program; Board of Interweave for 20 years
