Dreamcatcher Rep is collaborating with our friends at Playwrights Theatre to bring you Suzanne Bradbeer’s Shakespeare in Vegas. This new comedy tells the story of a wise guy with a dream and a discouraged New York actress who attempt to bring legit theatre to Sin City.       

In the show, Tony, the New York producer, brings a classical actress to Las Vegas to cast a season of Shakespeare. As roles go to showgirls and other questionable locals, will a generations-old family curse threaten to bring their dream to an untimely end?

Dreamcatercher audiences will recognize Suzanne Bradbeer’s name as the award-winning playwright of two prior productions on our mainstage: Full Bloom (March 2006) and You Miss Them When They’re Not Around (November 2008). And a very lucky audience got an insider’s look at the development of this play, Shakespeare in Vegas, at our May 2011 “Meet The Artist” series of new play
